The recognition of the growing threat of cyber-attacks in the region and the growing urgency to combat these threats prompted the Philippine Government to form The Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) in May 2016 with the mandate to address all national IT matters and promote the national ICT Development Agenda.

About Organizer
APAC EXPO PTE LTD is based in Singapore and has been specially incorporated to organize Events being held in The Philippines.
By way of background, in addition to APAC EXPO PTE LTD, the Organizers successfully launched in Singapore the Global Security Asia (GSA) Series in 2005 which is a biennial Event meeting the requirements of the International Counter Terrorism and Homeland Security Communities.
